Dharmaspace Pilates and Feed Health are pleased to announce an exciting new (free!) monthly lunchtime nutrition lecture series. You already come to Dharmaspace to increase your strength, balance and flexibility, now you can also learn to nourish yourself from the inside out using delicious, healthy whole foods! Good nutrition is the foundation of vibrant health, but many of us are confused about what, when and how much to feed our bodies. Join Feed Health's Lindsay Keach every third Thursday afternoon at Dharmaspace to get re-inspired in your food life. Stop counting calories and yo-yoing between "good" and "bad" foods and back again, and start craving the foods and activities that make you feel fantastic. LECTURE 1 - Got the Sugar Blues? - Thursday, Jan. 22nd - 1-2pm
Were your holidays full of sugar and spice and everything nice? Do you love sweets, but hate the way they make you feel afterwards? Want to stop sugar cravings and balance your energy highs and lows without feeling deprived? This class is for you! Sugar is a major addiction. Learn how to deconstruct your sugar cravings, kick the sugar habit without a will of steel, and find sweet healthy alternatives.
LECTURE 2 - To Cleanse, or Not to Cleanse - Thursday, Feb. 19th - 1-2pm Cleansing and detoxification "diets" are all the buzz these days, but there's a-lot of confusion about the why, the how and the when. Should you drink lemonade and cayenne pepper? Eliminate certain foods? Add in others? Why would you put yourself through something like that in the first place? Is it safe? Necessary? Is it for you?
In this timely and informative installment of the Dharmaspace Lunchtime Nutrition Hour, Certified Health and Nutrition Counselor Lindsay Keach of Feed Health will cover the basics of cleansing and detoxification, share a few of her favorite cleansing recipes, and leave plenty of time for all of your burning questions.

In this month's Dharmaspace Nutrition series, Feed Health's Lindsay Keach will cover the whys and hows of seasonal eating, with a particular focus on Spring! Learn the unique qualities of each season, the benefits of seasonal eating from both eastern and western perspectives, which foods are in season in the Bay Area, and some great tips for cultivating energy and balance in your life by incorporating these foods into your diet.
